Day 3: A Monster (Evil) The room painting/collage (sans all the creatures and other cutouts) is from 2010 when I re-painted my walls. Today just before taking a nap the idea of using this wip for the monster task suddenly came to me. (Still not finished with yesterday’s good monster.) I thought about what a “monster” is for quite a while and ended up simply with:  something not necessarily big but deifnitely scary  something that makes things and spaces surrounding it threatening and a human doesn’t want to share space with it  something a human can’t relate to. And lots of other things, I’m sure! Id’ never tried to define “monster” in my head and this excellent chance led me to ask the opinions of other people too. My bad monster isn’t supposed to symbolize any specific fear - it’s BIG (which is scary) and SCARY (because I don’t know what it is or should be, or what it’s doing). Most importantly, it’s somewhere it shouldn’t be: in my room, which is an intimate and safe place where I belong and not it.
