(Late) Day 2: A Monster (Good)
First time drawing intestines!
This good monster’s much more grotesque and monster-esque that it’s bad sibling. “Good monsters” are monsters based only on their appareance and the scary impression and I figured the monster would have to be something scary one would avoid, but which would turn out to be good and desirable and harmless. I chose it to be the non-comfort zone, because:
It’s easy to be scared of it.
Going outside one’s comfort zone is exciting and often gut-wrenching, I tried to literalize that feeling.
You move with your feet, which are the human part - I didn’t want to give the evil one any human features.
Doing new things requires both being attentive and looking carefully (eyes), but also includes the sensation of being unsure and not knowing what’s next (black cloth).
