In Finland you finish high school by dressing up, mocking your teachers, running around throwing candy at elementary school kids and riding on a truck around town, throwing some more candy at cheering passer-bys (and after that go on a cruise to get wasted, though some of us decided to skip that lalala).
Well, ‘finish school’ as in get free from lessons to prepare for the graduation exams.
I dressed up as Gelsomina from the movie La Strada that is my dear FOREVERINSPIRATION movie. It was probably this film that triggered my fascination with clowns. Gelsomina is a very sad character but I had such a blast today as a mime clown (I did the black-and-white look!). The little kids were awesome, though greedy.
